About Me
Sadat is a distinguished Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, board-certified and equipped with a rich educational background, including master's degrees in Nursing and Public Health, and a graduate-level certificate in Global Health. A proud alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Possessing over 25 years of experience in the field of mental health, Sadat has dedicated her career to aiding individuals grappling with severe and persistent mental health conditions. Her extensive experience is further enriched by her work with patients who have faced homelessness, showcasing her commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations.

With Sadat’s passion for making a difference in the lives of those suffering from mental illness, in 2019, she was part of a conversation that led to a global mental health learning exchange at UW Madison that brought leaders and psychiatrists from Nigeria, Uganda, and Ethiopia to Madison for a global conversation about the need to dispel mental illness myths and stigma and to increase access to mental health care.

Sadat is a mental health advocate, particularly for the underprivileged. When she is not at work, she volunteers with social justice organizations.

Outside of her professional and advocacy work, Sadat is an avid traveler, having explored six of the seven continents. Her passion for discovering new cultures is matched by her love for cooking and her talent for organizing events, bringing people together in both her professional and personal life.

Sadat's journey at Ease of Mind is not just a career; it's a testament to her lifelong commitment to improving mental health care and supporting those in need, both locally and globally.
